Recreate McDonald’s Steak Egg and Cheese Bagel at Home

This Copycat McDonald’s Steak Egg and Cheese Bagel combines savory steak, creamy cheese, and a perfectly toasted bagel for a satisfying breakfast that brings a beloved fast-food favorite home, making mornings feel special and indulgent.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 everything bagels
  • 4 ounces of ribeye steak
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of American cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Method
 

  1. Season the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  3. Cook the steak for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest while preparing the eggs.
  5. In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook them to your liking.
  6. Add the American cheese on top of the eggs in the skillet and cover to melt.
  7. Toast the bagels in the skillet until golden brown.
  8. Assemble the sandwich by layering sliced steak, cooked eggs with cheese, and the top half of the bagel.
